Focus: Streamline the design and development of brand pages and native ads across the Walmart.com ecosystem. Create a toolkit to increase productivity by facilitating the production of ad graphics, copywriting, and development handoff.
Challege: Breakpoints, safe zones, scaling, cropping, and truncation, to name a few, can be difficult, invisible obstacles to the effectiveness of the original design intent.
Goal: Provide my teams with the tools for creative flow and flexibility. With an increased understanding of the parameters, it then became easier for the designers to make informed visual choices.

Improved Process.
Informed decisions translate to ideal graphical and copy executions across desktop, tablet, mobile, and app. Other improvements were dramatic file size reduction, simplified prototyping, and drag and drop asset export. This is also a strong visual communication tool to pinpoint weak points and make a case refinement with leadership and dev.

A Better Toolkit
The UX Template Toolkits led to improved creative production process for native ads and brand pages, allowing ideal graphical and copy executions across desktop, tablet, mobile, and app. The project also resulted in dramatic file size reduction, meaning faster processing on workstations and server load, simplified prototyping, and efficient drag-and-drop asset export. Ultimately, these tools empowered the design team, fostering more creative flow and flexibility, easing creative expression, and speeding up the delivery of final assets.
